This newly renovated 3-star cottage is located on the south-eastern shore of Prince Edward Island, a five minute drive from the Wood Islands ferry terminal. Nestled in a quiet location, Calm Water Cottage is just a three minute stroll to Panting's Shore, one of the most beautiful sandy beaches and swimming areas on the Northumberland Strait.

Calm Water's cozy interior features an open concept kitchen and living area. The front deck has a screened-in sunroom, great for outdoor dining. There's also an open back deck to enjoy morning coffee while listening to the surf of the Northumberland Strait. The cottage will sleep 7 people: one bedroom has twin/double bunk beds; another bedroom with a double bed; and a sofa bed for extra guests. The cottage features all wood floors, a propane fireplace, and is tastefully decorated with new furnishings. The bathroom is equipped with a shower.

As the gateway to eastern PEI, Wood Islands and the surrounding area is a hub of summertime activity. Calm Water is just minutes away from:
Wood Islands car ferry terminal and wharf have a restaurant, craft shops, an ATM, and a fresh lobster and seafood outlet.
Plough the Waves Visitor Centre offers a tourism information outlet, craft shops, a liquor store, and an ice cream shop.
Nearby villages of Murray River and Murray Harbour provide banking, gas stations, restaurants, a grocery/hardware store, golf, handcraft shops, and libraries (with computer access).
The town of Montague is a 20 minute drive and has a number of attractions and services including the Garden of the Gulf Museum, large grocery stores, restaurants, banking, and shopping.
Charlottetown, the capital city, is a 40 minute drive and features many tourism attactions and activities, including theatre, concerts, fine dining, and shopping.

High Season (July 1st - August 31st): $900/week plus 10% pst
Low Season (May, June, September, October): $600/week plus 10% pst
If booking for one month in high season rate would be $750.00 weekly.
Rentals are normally done on a Saturday - Saturday basis with check-in after 3 pm and check-out by 11 am. Shorter stays are welcome during the low season. A deposit of $100 is due upon booking.
